DON WALLACE

Don Wallace started acting in his home town of New York City. He has worked at theaters including Provincetown Play House, La MaMa Theater and the Abingdon Theater. His first major film role was “Ty” in the controversial Miramax film A PRICE ABOVE RUBIES. He went on to land roles in the HBO Emmy award winning mini-series THE CORNER playing the character of “Bugsy.” He has since guest starred on many network television shows such as CSI: NY, COLD CASE and LIE TO ME. After moving to Los Angeles Don also began writing and producing.

His first writing and producing credits on a feature were for his film, BLUE, in which he also starred. BLUE received rave reviews and was the 2009 Grand Jury Prize winner of the Hollywood Black Film Festival as well as the 2009 Audience Award winner of the American Black Film Festival, where Don was also nominated for Best Actor. BLUE picked up steam as the official selection of the 2009 Chicago International Film Festival and received a nomination for Best Independent Film at the Blackreel Awards in February of 2010. BLUE premiered on “Showtime” in December 2010, on Starz in January 2011 and is available on Netflix.  Don has several other projects that are also underway, which will be produced under his production company Fight Or Die Productions LLC.
