Carrol Mendelson

Carrol Mendelson is an accomplished writer and producer. She was president of Carrel Productions where she wrote and produced musical theater, cabaret shows, as well as interactive theater and serious drama. After the loss of her son, she created MARC PRODUCTIONS in his memory, and began writing" Imperfect Seed," based on a true story. The Los Angeles premiere was this past March, and it is currently in development as a screenplay.

In the years following, she wrote and co-produced Precious Piglet and Her Pals, a musical stage show for children, which garnered a regional award for best original children's musical in 2005. She is co-writer and co-produced "Rachel and Julio" in 2006 starring Lainie Kazan and Joe Bologna.

Carrol also co-produced Mariette Hartely's one woman show "If You Get To Bethlehem You've Gone Too Far," as well as the "The Boychick Affair" which is currently running in New York.

Carrol is co-author of "Mirror Mirror,' published by Llumina Press.
